We are thrilled to celebrate our joint 40th birthday weekend with friends and family. Join us for a laid-back outdoor gathering featuring camping, fishing, and hiking.

The venue is an old rustic retreat center on a lovely property in Jonesborough, TN. The property has many rooms, meeting rooms, and a full-service kitchen and dining room. It sits on a large property where you can camp, complete with a fishing lake and a lovely nearby creek.
The Weekend Events
FRIDAY 5PM
Arrival & Campfire Kickoff
Check in to your rooms or pitch your tent. We'll have hot dogs, s'mores, and drinks to start the celebration.
SATURDAY
Outdoor Adventure Day
Choose your adventure: Guided hiking at Buffalo Mountain, fishing on the lake, or relaxing by the creek.
SATURDAY 6PM
The Big 40 Celebration Dinner
A catered rustic feast in the Retreat Center dining room followed by toasts, cake, and fun!
MONDAY 9AM
Checkout & Farewell
Time to pack up. Grab a send-off gift and a hug goodbye as we head back to reality.
The Weekend Details
We have rented out the property so anyone who wants to come will have space to stay. we just want to celebrate with our loved ones and HAVE A GOOD TIME!
Camping at Buffalo Mountain
Join us for the full celebration by camping on the property. There's plenty of space for tents near the lake and creek.
Travel & Lodging
Plan your stay for the big weekend. We have plenty of rooms available at the retreat center! We just want you to come!
Getting to the Camp
Located in Jonesborough, TN—the state's oldest town. We're about 1.5 hours north of Asheville and easy to find with our printed guide.
Local Lodging
Not a fan of the great outdoors at night or desire more privacy? There are several charming B&Bs and motels in downtown Jonesborough, just 15 minutes away.

Are kids welcome?
Absolutely! This is a family-friendly weekend. There is plenty of room for kids to explore and enjoy the lake.
Food?
We will have hot dogs on Friday night, a catered dinner on Saturday night, and will have snacks and drinks available!
Should I bring my own camping gear?
Yes, if you plan to camp, please bring your own tent and sleeping bag. The retreat center has common areas, but outdoor space is yours to claim!
What is the dress code?
Casual and comfortable! You have options of camping, fishing, and hiking, so bring your best outdoor gear and layers for the evening campfire.
